In the morning

There are a few good things about working a night duty!

Cycling home to bed on a weekday when everyone else is getting up and rushing to work!

Cycling home on the weekend, when the streets are empty and they belong to me!

Cycling past a fabulous sun rise that I wouldn't normally stop to notice!

Cycling past the three playful young foxes playing in the road.

September anticipation with a hint of woodsmoke in the air, the promise of the autumn to follow!

The quiet!

Wonderful!!

Monring Sarah

I agree totally, although I am usually on the beginning of the 'shift' when I see all these things, but a wonderful time of day.

I can can rely on pupsicles to make sure I don't eversleep and miss any of it at the moment.

It's a perfect time of day that so few of us see. I'm glad you're finding the good in night shifts, Sarah.
Sleep well.

I'm never out and about at that time of day - I think I would fall asleep at the handle bars if it were me :)

Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog - glad you found something inspiring there x
